frequently asked questions
|
How do i book a place?
Bookings must be made in writing and accompanied by a registration
form or you can contact us via our website. Latecomers can arrive and book at the
beginning of the week but only if places are available. Enquiries for bookings can be made
by telephone or email, see our page for further details. If unavailable a booking request
can be made by leaving a message and we will then call back to confirm whether a place is
available, please remember to leave your full name, telephone number and address. A child
cannot be accepted without this confirmation. |
Do i need to provide food?
We ask that packed lunches, snacks and plenty of fluids are provided.
We request written confirmation on the registration form of any food allergies. We do not
provide food due to allergies and food intolerance. At Xcite we have a policy to ask
parents to provide healthy food and snacks, this aids all parents in educating their
children about food, avoids squabbles over sweets and chocolate etc and avoids
hyperactivity. |
What if my child needs to take medication
during the day?
Written consent is required from a parent/carer for staff to
administer any medication. Please ensure that medication is clearly labelled and that your
child is well enough to attend. We cannot administer any suppositories or injections, nor
do we hold non-prescription medicines such as Calpol. The playleader
will contact the parent/carer if their child falls ill while
attending. Please note that if a child falls ill with sickness
and/or diarrhoea, he/she will not be admitted until 24 hours
after the last attack. |
